Save, Publish, Attach Result Lists
Result lists can be saved and managed in the same manner as Searches. To do this, click the menu item “Result” in the title list and select the sub item “Manage result sets”.
A new window will open. Here you can save the patents currently displayed in the Result list as a new list. In order to do this click the button “New”. A new window will open. Here you can enter a name for the list.
Please note that not only the results displayed but the entire list will be saved here.
Existing result lists can be replaced by the new list. Lists can be deleted or renamed. It is also possible to attach the current result list to an already existing list.
Sharing Result Lists With Other Users
In the same way you can share searches with users whose username you know result lists can also be shared.
To do this, click the button Publish.
Enter the user name of the user with whom you would like to share the result list in the newly opened window (in the field „click here....“). If the user name is correct it will be displayed in the list. You can now assign „read“ or „write“ in the field Permission. If you assign the permission „read“ the other user can open the result list but is not allowed to change it (rename, delete, extend). By assigning „write“ the other user can edit the result list at any time.
Attach, Replace Lists
When working with lists, it is also often sensible to replace or combine lists. In order to combine result lists, save a list under a new name. Then open the other saved lists or the newly created list and attach them to the list with the new name. This way you can combine multiple research results on one list. In case some identical results occur in both searches, then these duplicates will automatically be deleted when combining the lists.
Searching in saved lists
In order to search in saved lists, pull the field „result list“ into the search mask and select the list or lists to be searched.
Alternatively you can use “Manage result lists” in the “Results” menu to open the window with your saved searches and simply pull the selected lists in the search mask using drag-and-drop.
