Create Active Folders
Depending on your rights you can create or edit active folders (Monitoring Profiles, Legal Status Monitoring) in the context menu.
In order to change a folder into a monitoring folder you simply have to “attach” the saved search (automatically performed once a week) to the folder.
In the “Details”-window click the button with the three dots or the Pull-down. Select an entry by clicking on the name and press OK. The window will close and the folder icon will change to a folder with a magnifying glass symbol. The Monitoring Profile is now activated.
It is possible to change a SIP-patent-based folder and a family-based folder into a Monitoring Profile. Only one representative, depending on your company’s network settings, will be displayed in a family-based folder. In a SIP-patent-based folder, all SIP-patents found during the run of the Monitoring Profile will be displayed.
The second tab “Legal Status/Family Monitoring” enables you to set up folders which are monitored regarding changes in legal status according to pre-defined filters. Click on the tab, select the filter or create it according to your wishes. Then select the users who should receive notifications about changes in legal status or family. Confirm your selection with OK. The legal status monitoring is set up. The folder icon will change to a paragraph symbol.
Daily automatic searches
As previously explained under active folders , automatic searches (Monitoring Profiles) can be carried out on a daily basis.
As known from creating Monitoring Profiles, simply select a search and check the box "Daily automatic search". Once you click OK, the search is activated and will be performed every night.
Please note that searches for changes in comments and evaluations cannot be performed automatically when using data separation. This option is only available if company-specific information is saved on SIP servers.
